Biography
Gabriele Nasole is an artist and designer based in the Netherlands.
His practice focuses on oceanic topics, using an approach that merges mythology, oceanography and more than human perspectives. He uses a range of media such as sculpture, sound, interactive installations and more to unveil the relationships between human society and maritime space. His work focuses on contrasting the land-sea binary, favouring an understanding of the ocean as a system which extends beyond the waterline, into physical and mental realms.
In 2023, together with Giulia Braglia he founded Liquid Rituals, a joint project focused on ceramic research.
