Biography
Gabriele Nasole (b. 1997) is an artist and designer based in the Netherlands. His work focuses on oceanic topics, drawing from research into critical oceanography, mythology and interdisciplinary collaborations. He uses a range of media such as sculpture, sound, interactive installations and more to unveil the relationships between human society and maritime space. His work focuses on contrasting the land-sea binary, favouring an understanding of the ocean as a system which extends beyond the waterline, into physical and mental realms.
